Karachi:
Nine people, including children, were injured when a roof collapsed near Farooq Azam Mosque in Surjani Town Sector 4D, of which a 12 -year -old girl died while not receiving any injuries.
Rescue sources said the family was present at the house at the time of the accident, including parents and their seven children. Initially 5 people were reported injured, but according to police, the total number of injured was 9.
All the injured were immediately shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital where they are being provided medical help. Police say the condition of all the injured is out of danger.
According to police, investigations are underway to find out the cause of the incident, while one of the nine injured in the hospital died while not receiving any injuries during treatment while the other eight people are undergoing treatment at the hospital.
