Another child injured in a wedding ceremony in Surjani Taser Town was treated at 6 -year -old Alan Waleed Shahzad Hospital.
The number of children killed in the incident has increased to 2, one injured is still undergoing treatment, police arrested three persons involved in the shooting.
It may be recalled that a minor child was killed and two people, including a child, were shot dead in Surjani Town police station in Surjani Town Town Sector 35C yesterday.
The deceased child was identified as 6 -year -old Banju Waleed Isaac. The injured included 6 -year -old Alan Waleed Shahzad and 30 -year -old Robin Vlad Babar. The two injured were undergoing treatment at the hospital, but the injured child, 6 -year -old Alan Waleed Shahzad, died during treatment.
SHO Surjani Town Inspector Ghulam Hussain Pirzada said that according to preliminary reports, the people who were carrying Barat were firing at the wedding, while accidental firing took place.
Police have reached the spot and recovered a pistol used in the shooting, police say, adding that three persons involved in the shooting incident are under investigation, further legal action is being taken in this regard.
