Karachi:
The AVLC site division in the city of Quaid killed a robbery in an alleged police encounter.
The deceased was identified as Abdul Wajid. According to police, Abdul Wajid was an active member of the notorious Lashari gang and was involved in several incidents including snatching, stealing cars in Karachi.
According to police sources, several cases of murder, theft, robbery and police encounters have been registered against the accused and he was arrested and jailed before.
The police encounter took place in the boundary of Habib Chorangi site A, near the grave street. Police have recovered the Suzuki Hi Rauf and 30 bore pistols stolen from the boundary of Shari Noor Jahan.
The recovered Suzuki Hi Rauf was stolen on February 8, 2025, whose case was registered number 12/2025.
During further investigation, it was revealed that several cases were registered against Abdul Wajid in Bahawalpur.
