Karachi; Fire broke out in more than 30 huts near the Super Highway, household goods burnt to ashes

A fire broke out in a jhagi near Ahsanabad Super Highway, which destroyed household goods, but there was no loss of life.

The victims say that the incident of fire in the huts took place after 2 pm and the fire that broke out in our 30 to 35 huts completely destroyed the huts.

The victims say that there was no loss of life due to the fire, but the bed, utensils, clothes and other household items were burnt to ashes and the fire was brought under control but all our belongings were destroyed.

The victims appealed to the government for help and said that we should be given a house, bed and food. Our children are shivering with cold. We do not beg but sell utensils and clothes and our ancestral ties are from Sukkur and Shikarpur.
