The tragic incident took place in the house located in Kemari Sikandarabad Street No. 28, the family had lit a globe to avoid mosquitoes in the house, which caught fire in the beds.
According to Muhammad Azam, the uncle of the girls, the fire engulfed 6 young girls, causing them burns and injuries.

According to Mohammad Azam, the girls are close sisters and were staying at home with their mother.
The maternal grandfather of the girls, Muhammad Akmal, said that the family’s ancestry is from Rahim Yar Khan, the ages of the girls are between 2 and 18 years, he added that the condition of the 4 injured girls admitted to Burns Ward is out of danger.
The police denied initial reports of gas leakage or cylinder bursting in the house and said that the fire was caused by the use of mosquito repellent globes.
