Karachi: Includes law -abiding looters, extortion of policemen exposes

Another tragic incident of extortion from the citizens of policemen in the city of Quaid has surfaced.

A businessman from the President’s Mobile Market, dressed in a police uniform, snatched Rs 1.5 lakh in cash and mobile phones near Gurmandar.

According to the victim’s statement, the incident took place on April 29 when the accused Faizan stopped the businessman along with his three fellow policemen, harassed him on the pretext of searching and then snatched cash and mobile.

A case has been registered against six persons, including Faizan, accused of extortion at the Jamshed Quarter police station on the complaint of the victim.

According to sources, the accused Faizan has also been arrested in the past for kidnapping civilians, which makes his criminal activities clear.
