Karachi:
In the southern district, a wet garbage and animal waste and a biogis and fertilizer pilot project have been launched.
Mayor Karachi Barrister Murtaza Wahab visited the KMC workshop along with MD (SSWMB) Tariq Ali Nizmani and inspected the modern pilot project bioidome of the biogas plant, which was installed by the Sindh Solid Waste Management Board and Aysis International.
Mayor Karachi praised the Sindh Solid Waste Management Board and Ace International, appreciating the magnificent move to start the project during the visit. He added that the kitchen garbage in the southern district is welcome to launch a biogas and fertilizer project. Work has been initiated on the use of useful measures after lifting the garbage from the house.
He said that in every district, he was working on a plan to reduce the garbage and make it useable. He said that select the place for a more large project, whatever cooperation will be provided will be provided. He directed that the pilot project be increased to a large level soon, which would help make Karachi more clean.
