Karachi rain replace: Met Office points contemporary climate advisory

The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) mentioned Friday there could be no extra rains in Karachi as we speak because the westerly climate system that has brought about downpours up to now couple of days within the metropolis has exited.

The meteorological division forecast that through the subsequent 24 hours, the climate would stay clear or partly cloudy, with the temperature dropping to as little as 13.3°C.

Meanwhile, the humidity stands at 89%, PMD added.

A day earlier, average to mild showers continued in several areas of Karachi all through the day as the town welcomed the second spell of winter rainfall below the affect of a powerful climate system that entered Balochistan on Tuesday.

The climate turned chilly and nice as completely different areas of the town, together with I.I. Chundrigar Road, Saddar, Shahrah-e-Faisal, Nazimabad, North Karachi, Surjani, and different areas obtained mild to average rains together with a chilly breeze.

Intermittent downpours within the metropolis badly affected the movement of visitors on busy roads.

According to PMD, the temperature could fall in Karachi from January 8.
