A security guard was injured in the firing incident near Sher Shah Gulbai shrine and was shifted to Civil Hospital late at night.
Rescue officials said the victim was identified as 28-year-old Qasim, while the incident is believed to be an accidental fire from the security guard’s own weapon. However, police are investigating further.
