The CTD arrested the banned outfit terrorist while operating in Soldier Bazaar.
According to the spokesman of the CTD, the arrested accused Syed Musa Rizvi alias Kamran Waleed Syed Nafis Abbas Rizvi had been hiding for a long time in fear of arrest.
The arrested accused has revealed the murder, attempted murder and facilitator during interrogation. The accused said that on September 5, 2023, Qari Khurram Waleed Mohammad Khan was killed on the basis of communal opposition in the Timuria police station and injured Mohammad Madani Waleed Mohammad Bashir and Naveed Khan Waleed Hussain Khan.
Similarly, on September 20, 2023, Sher Khan was shot dead in the limits of the alleged town police station, while on November 26, 2023, he was injured by firing on January 26, 2023.
The accused further revealed that on November 13, 2024, Syed Mohammad Abu Hashim was killed while playing the role of facilitating in the Samanabad area.
According to the CTD spokesman, the accused Syed Musa Rizvi is an important member of the Zenbun brigade and has been indirectly involved in various sectarian operations, which has been regularly funded by the organization.
Terror financing and other cases were under investigation against the accused in the CTD, on the basis of which the arrests were made. Further investigation is underway from the accused and further revelations are expected.
