The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) Commercial Banking Circle Karachi has arrested the key operatives of an organized gang involved in reference handi and illegal currency exchange during the operation.
According to the spokesperson of FIA, on the instructions of DG FIA, actions are being taken against the suspects involved in the reference handi and illegal currency exchange and the FIA Commercial Banking Circle Karachi arrested the main operative of the organized gang involved in the reference handi red-handed.
He said that the accused Ahmed Raza has been arrested from Adamji Nagar.
According to the spokesperson of FIA, the arrested accused is involved in reference handi, during the raid, one crore five million rupees were recovered from the accused and digital evidence related to reference handi was also recovered from his mobile phone.
He said that the accused could not satisfy the authorities regarding the recovered currency, an investigation has been started in this regard and raids are being conducted to arrest other accomplices of the accused.
