Karachi:
A father and son riding a motorcycle were killed in a heavy collision with a trawler on Korangi Qayyumabad bridge in Shahr Quaid.
The accident took place at night when the motorcycle collided with a damaged trawler.
According to the police, the trawler was standing on the bridge when the motorcyclist was crossing the bridge with his family, but the trawler could not be seen due to darkness on the bridge, which led to the accident.
The police further said that the trawler had broken down and its driver left after locking it.
Those killed in the accident have been identified as 49-year-old Rizwan and 3-year-old Rohan, while the woman on the motorcycle sustained minor injuries.
The injured child Rohan was shifted to Jinnah Hospital where he died. Police have started investigation into the incident.
