Karachi Traffic police points revised diversion plan for Test match


A file picture of a Traffic police personnel. KARACHI: Karachi Traffic police on Saturday reissued the diversion plan for the primary Test match between South Africa and Pakistan.The Test match will likely be performed on the National Stadium in Karachi from January 26-30.It is pertinent to say right here that out of the two-Test matches scheduled towards South Africa, one will likely be performed in Karachi, whereas the opposite in Rawalpindi.During the Test match, a number of roads, resulting in the stadium, will stay open for small site visitors, in response to the revised site visitors plan issued on Saturday.Here are the main points:Hassan Square flyoverFrom the Liaquatabad observe through Hassan Square and University Road that turns in direction of Sir Shah Suleman Road, no car will likely be permitted to proceed in direction of Stadium Road.Traffic will likely be diverted from the flyover in direction of University Road. Similarly, the National Stadium flyover will stay closed for all site visitors through the match.Karsaz (Shahrah-e-Faisal)All sorts of small autos will likely be allowed to proceed on Habib Ibrahim Rehmatullah Road in direction of the stadium. Heavy/public transport is not going to be allowed.Millennium Road (Rashid Minhas)Dalmia Road will stay open for small autos from Millennium to the stadium sign. Heavy/public transport is not going to be allowed.New Town Chowrangi (University Road)The University Road/New Town turning will stay open for small autos in direction of the stadium sign. Heavy/public transport is not going to be allowed.Heavy TrafficAll varieties of heavy site visitors shall not be permitted to proceed from Sohrab Goth to NIPA, Liaquatabad No 10 to Hassan Square, PP Chowrangi to University Road, through the match.
