Famous filmmaker Karan Johar is in news again with his new movie “Aap Jesa Koi”. Actor R Madhavan and Fatima Sana Shaikh will play the lead roles in this romantic comedy.
According to sources, the shooting of the film started in November, and it will be released under the title “Aap Jesa Koi” instead of “Thirki”.
The film is directed by Vivek Soni, known for “Meenakshi Sundareswar”. The story of the film is based on the relationship between a 40-year-old man and a 30-year-old woman, who meet on a dating app. The story is set in the backdrop of Mumbai and Kolkata, which makes the film more interesting.
“Aap Jesa Koi” will be released as a digital premiere on Netflix in 2025, part of a collaboration between Dharma Productions and Netflix. Sources close to Karan Johar said that the title is inspired by the famous song “Aap Jesa Koi”, which ties in well with the theme of the story.
