According to Don News, District Police Officer Azhar Khan said that investigation is going on to find out the facts. Kashif’s wife has lodged an FIR. It is alleged that her husband was seriously injured in the shootout of unknown people. Later, he said that he died in the hospital.

Maulana Kashif Ali played an important role in furthering the political activities of Lashkar through PMML, which aims to make this group legal in Pakistani politics.
