Azerbaijan Airlines plane became victim of a tragic accident on Wednesday (December 25, 2024) at Aktau Airport in Kazakhstan. In the pictures of the accident, it can be seen that the parts of the plane were blown away and its parts are seen scattered far and wide on the ground. This painful accident happened due to collision of birds. A correspondent of Russian news agency Sputnik has given this information. The plane was about to make an emergency landing at Aktau Airport, when a flock of birds collided with the plane’s engine and the oxygen cylinder burst. It was also reported that some passengers had become unconscious just before the accident.
The plane had given a distress signal before the accident due to collision with a flock of birds and steering failure. The pilots kept trying to increase the speed and altitude of the plane till the end, but the plane completely lost control. In a video of the incident, it was seen that the plane repeatedly tries to rise and goes upwards rapidly, but starts stopping. At last the pilot tried to control the plane by going to a higher altitude and then it started circling near the airport, but in the end it crashed. There is an atmosphere of mourning across the world due to this plane crash. The Embraer E190AR plane of Azerbaijan Airlines was carrying 62 passengers and five crew members from Russia, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan.
Azerbaijan Airlines said that the plane was making an emergency landing three kilometers before Aktau Airport. The plane was going to Russia, but due to dense fog, it changed its route and requested for emergency landing three kilometers before Aktau Airport. During this time, it started circling in the sky, but at 6:28 in the morning it crashed near the Caspian Sea shore.

In a video, it was seen that the plane is waving in the sky, comes down at speed and hits the ground within a few seconds. After this a fire starts.
