Kazakhstan, Russia launch three joint auto business tasks


NUR-SULTAN, Kazakhstan – Kazakhstan’s Prime Minister Askar Mamin and Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov held negotiations and launched the implementation in Kazakhstan of three joint tasks within the automotive business for 261 billion tenge ($1- 426,three tenge) of investments on September 27, Kazakhstan’s authorities mentioned.

“This is the construction of factories for the production of cast iron and components for bridges of KAMAZ trucks in the Industrial Zone of Kostanay, as well as the opening of a production of automobile tires in the city of Saran, Karaganda region,” the Kazakh authorities mentioned.

The design capability of the joint ventures will quantity to 40,000 items of solid elements (cylinder blocks, cylinder heads and one-piece girder of the axle housing for vehicles) and 86,000 gearboxes for the primary gears of the driving axles of vehicles per yr.
