Kohli’s opportunity to break Sachin’s 19 years old record

India star cricketer Virat Kohli had a historic opportunity to break his 19 -year -old record of his compatriot and legendary cricketer Sachin Tendulkar.


In the 3 -match ODI series against England, Virat Kohli is nearing breaking Sachin Tendulkar’s record of 14,000 runs in India, which he made 19 years ago.

In February 2006, Legendary Sachin Tendulkar crossed the milestone of 14,000 runs in his 350th ODI innings during the match against Pakistan in Peshawar, but in this match, India suffered a defeat.

Kohli, currently, has scored 13906 runs in 283 ODI innings with 50 centuries and 72 half -centuries, an average of 58.18 and a strike rate of 93.54.

Kumar Sangakkara – 378 innings (March 2015 against Australia in Sydney)

On the other hand, India’s star batter Virat Kohli is suffering from poor form, failing miserably in Sri Lanka and Australia, after which returning to Domestic proved to be a nightmare.

The one -day series between India and England will start in Nagpur on February 6, while the next two matches are scheduled for February 9 and 12, after which the two teams will visit Dubai and Pakistan to participate in the Champions Trophy.
