Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Faisal Karim Kundi has said that there are innumerable opportunities in the mineral sector in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan, full of other natural resources, including oil and gas and can be strengthened by taking advantage of it.

A delegation, including US -born Pakistani engineer Zeeshan Shahid, Trade Commissioner Zohaib Ahmed Khan and renowned social personality Ishtam met at the Governor’s House Peshawar.

According to the APP report, during the delegation’s meeting, investment opportunities were discussed in various energy sectors in the country, especially in green energy, mining and oil sector.

Governor Faisal Karim Kundi said that Pakistan has large reserves of natural resources which can be used to overcome the energy crisis.

He said that there are precious metals and mineral reserves in the mountainous and mineral areas of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, which can increase local employment opportunities by searching and development.

Governor KP termed investment in the Green Energy sector as an important requirement of the hour, saying that environmentally friendly energy sources will not only meet the energy needs of the country but also reduce environmental pollution.

The meeting also discussed proposals for the acquisition of scholarships for Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and providing facilities to the flood victims.
