The High Court judge excused himself from the hearing on the petition of the PTI leader.
According to Express News, Justice Farooq Haider of Lahore High Court has excused himself from the hearing on the request for details of the cases against Chaudhry Mehdi Hasan of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf.
Justice Farooq Haider has said that he cannot personally hear the application. He referred the petition of the PTI leader to the Chief Justice Lahore High Court and recommended to present the petition before another bench.
During the hearing on the petition of PTI leader Chaudhry Mehdi Hasan in front of Justice Farooq Haider, advocate Shehram Saqi advocated that cases were made against the petitioner on political grounds. Government agencies are not providing details of cases.
In the petition, the court was requested to give an order to provide the details of the cases filed against the petitioner and also order to stop the filing of cases on political grounds.
