In the meeting, Advisor to the Prime Minister Rana Sanaullah was given a detailed briefing on the current load shedding in Gilgit-Baltistan and it was told that due to negative temperature, the demand for electricity in Gilgit-Baltistan increases while the hydro-flow is less, which is the reason. In the meeting, various proposals were reviewed in consultation with the Governor, Chief Minister Gilgit-Baltistan, Finance Division and other stakeholders to get out of this crisis.
