Los Angeles Wildfire: The Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) has taken a suspect into custody for setting the Kenneth fire that broke out in West Hills on Thursday afternoon (January 9, 2025). According to the New York Post report, the Kenneth fire broke out after 2.30 pm on Thursday and spread over an area of ​​more than 800 acres.

LAPD Senior Chief Officer Sean Dins says that a person suspected of arson has been taken into custody by citizens in the Woodland Hills area. The agency is investigating arson as a crime. According to the report, the detained person is a 30-year-old homeless man. Not only this, 20 people have been arrested for looting the houses of those who had to leave their homes due to the fire on Wednesday and Thursday.

The fire broke out on 7 January

There was a fire in Los Angeles on Tuesday (January 7, 2025), due to which half the city was burnt to ashes. A scene of devastation was seen all around. Due to this incident, approximately 130,000 Californians have been ordered to evacuate their homes. California includes the Palisade Fire in Los Angeles West, the Eaton Fire north of Pasadena and the Sunset Fire in the Hollywood Hills.
