Malayalam Actor Dileep Shankar Found Dead: Bad news has come for the fans of Malayalam actor Dilip Shankar. Famous Malayalam cinema actor Dilip Shankar was found dead in a hotel room here. Police gave this information on Sunday.
Actor Dilip Shankar, who had worked in films like ‘Chappa Kurishu’ and ‘North 24 Kaatham’ and many serials, was known for the various roles he played. Police said that he had stayed in a hotel in Thiruvananthapuram on December 19 for the shooting of a serial.
What did the police tell?
A senior police officer said that the hotel staff had last seen Shankar in his room two days ago. The actor (50) did not respond to repeated calls by the hotel staff and the serial team, after which the police was informed about it.
Police suspect – the actor had died two days ago
Police said, “The room was locked from inside. When we broke the door, we found him lying unconscious.” Police also said that it is suspected that Shankar had died two days ago.
Police further said that Shankar’s post-mortem report revealed that he probably died due to internal bleeding following a head injury following a fall. According to the police, the actor was also allegedly suffering from liver-related problems.

Malayalam film industry is shocked by the news of Shankar’s demise. The actor was last seen in a serial named Panchagni. In this he played the role of Chandrasenan. He recently received praise for the role he played in the TV series ‘Ammayariathe’.
