The Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) has blocked 16 YouTube news channels, 31 YouTube video links and 32 websites to spread false information and anti -Pakistan propaganda.

According to the report, according to the PTA, the move has been taken in view of the current regional situation in view of the protection of national security and Pakistan’s digital ecosystem.

The blocked material included misleading and harmful statements that aimed to affect public opinion and damage national solidarity.

The move is a continuation of the PTA’s efforts to spread misinformation and to ensure responsible use of digital platforms.

The statement said that PTA is committed to providing a safe and reliable Internet environment for telecom users in Pakistan.

The authority will continue to monitor online content and strict action will be taken against national interests.
