Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif left for China on an 8-day official visit, Maryam Nawaz Dost is the first Pakistani woman chief minister to visit the country.
Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif will visit China from December 8 to 15.
A high-level delegation including Senior Provincial Minister Maryam Aurangzeb, Information and Culture Minister Azma Zahid Bukhari, Transport Minister Bilal Akbar, Agriculture Minister Ashiq Kirmani is also accompanying the Chief Minister.
Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif will visit Beijing, Shanghai, Shenzhen and Guangzhou while also meeting Chinese ministers, senior officials and experts.
Pakistan’s first woman chief minister will attend various meetings, events and conferences in China.
It should be noted that Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif has been invited for a visit by China’s ruling party, the Communist Party of China.
