Mihrabpur:
Policemen of Bharia Road Police Station were attacked by armed men at the police post on Tail Canal, as a result of which 2 policemen were martyred.
According to the police, the attack was carried out on night duty personnel who have been identified as Saeed Solangi and Ghulam Hussain Rajpar.
Police sources said that the assailants fled from the spot after firing. As soon as the incident was reported, a heavy police force reached the spot and all the roads were blocked.
SSP Nowshahrufiroz Ruhal Khan Khosa also reached the spot and vowed not to spare the accused under any circumstances.
The dead bodies of the martyred police personnel have been shifted to Bahria City Hospital, where preparations are being made for the last rites.
