Thirteen folks have been killed and 70 harm when an overpass carrying Mexico City metro prepare vehicles partially collapsed on to a highway on Monday night time, authorities stated.

A video on native channel Milenio TV exhibits the overpass collapsing on vehicles on a highway under, sending a prepare plunging down and trapping vehicles underneath rubble.

The accident left a preliminary toll of 13 useless and 70 injured, in line with town’s Comprehensive Risk Management and Civil Protection Agency.

Mexico City mayor Claudia Sheinbaum travelled to the scene of the accident and stated on Twitter: “Firefighters, public safety personnel are working. Various hospitals attending. We will give more information shortly.”

Other movies on tv stations and social media confirmed emergency medical crews and firefighters combing by the wreckage on the lookout for survivors.

Mexico City Mayor Claudia Sheinbaum rushed to the realm.

The accident occurred at 10.30pm native time on the metro’s Line 12, the development of which has been affected by complaints and accusations of irregularities.
