Karachi:
Sindh High Court has ordered the SHO police station to file a disappearance case on the request for the recovery of a missing person from Karachi airport.
The hearing on the request for the recovery of the missing person from the airport was held in the Sindh High Court, in which the petitioner’s lawyer took the stand that Kashif Ali had arrived at Jinnah Terminal on March 27 with his wife to travel abroad.
According to the petitioner, law enforcers offloaded Kashif Ali and his wife from the plane. Kashif’s wife was later released. There have been several letters for Kashif’s recovery, but no trace of Kashif has been found while the airport police is not registering a case of Kashif’s disappearance.
The court remarked that the constitutional bench has the powers to hear the case of the Missing Persons. These cases are sending to the Constitution Bench.
In addition, the court ordered the SHO police station to file a disappearance case and sent the petition to the constitutional bench.
