Elon Musk’s SpaceX satellite service called ‘Direct to Cell’ has made it possible for users to make calls from any corner of the earth from their iPhones and Android smartphones.
The special feature of this service is that there will be no need for any change in the smartphones, but only the LTE support in the device will be enough.
This service will change the mobile connections. Now you can make calls from the areas of the earth where it is not possible to use mobile phones.
For this service, satellites are equipped with modems that help them act like cell towers and beam phone signals directly to smartphones from space.
Ukraine will be one of the first countries where this service will be introduced. For the same purpose, Ukrainian mobile operator Kyivstar has entered into an agreement with Starlink to introduce a direct-to-sell satellite service.
Initially, the service will have messaging facility and later voice and data services will also be made a part of it.
On the other hand, Elon Musk has changed his name on X. He has updated his X profile to Kakis Maximus while also changing his profile picture.
