The PTA blocked more than one million websites and thousands of YouTube channels working against the national interest.
The Pakistan Telecommunication Authority has launched a major action against the sites working against the national interest for national security and blocked thousands of YouTube channels with millions of websites.
According to the details, the PTA blocked 100 million 496 websites that spread content against national security and defense. In addition, PTA also blocked 3,248 YouTube channels.
PTA officials say issuing details of closed websites is not possible due to privacy principles.
