Muharram 2021 moon sighted in Pakistan

QUETTA: The Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee on Monday sighted the moon for Muharram-ul-Haram. The sighting of the moon has marked the brand new Islamic yr, 1443 AH.

Youm-e-Ashura to be noticed on August 19.

Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee Chairman Moulana Syed Muhammad Abdul Khabir Azad is presiding over the assembly, which is going down on the Deputy Commissioner’s workplace in Quetta.

Representatives from the Central and Zonal Ruet-e-Hilal Committees, Pakistan Meteorological Department officers, Ministry of Science and Technology, and Ministry of Religious Affairs and Harmony are current within the assembly.

According to astronomical parameters, there’s a good probability of sighting the brand new moon at present.
