Alia Fakhri, the sister of famous Bollywood actress Nargis Fakhri, has recently been arrested in the case of the death of two people in Queens, New York. Alia is accused of murdering her ex-boyfriend and his friend in arson.
Nargis Fakhri did not comment much on the incident, but in recent days she shared the first post on social media. In the post, Nargis appeared alongside her upcoming film Housefull 5 co-stars Jacqueline Fernandez and Sonam Bajwa and captioned it, “We are coming…”.
Nargis Fakhri’s post has shocked her fans, who are commenting on the balance between her film project and her sister’s arrest.
Referring to Housefull 5 in her post, the actress mentioned that the film will release on June 6, 2025, which will also star Akshay Kumar, Riteish Deshmukh, and Fardeen Khan in lead roles.
According to reports, Alia Fakhri is accused of murdering her ex-boyfriend Edward Jacobs and his friend Anastasia Starr-Etienne. Both of them died due to smoke and burns as a result of the fire.
Authorities convicted Aaliyah of murder and transferred her to prison, where she is currently incarcerated at Rickards Island. Alia has pleaded not guilty in court, but could face up to life in prison if convicted.
