Nawaz Marfani, Junaid Teghani prime on CTD most wished checklist with Rs10m bounty


Two alleged robbers, Nawaz Marfani and Junaid Teghani, have topped the checklist of most-wanted criminals of Sindh.

The counter-terrorism division (CTD) of Sindh police has proposed a whopping bounty of Rs10 million every for bringing the duo useless or alive.

The two infamous robbers are wished to the regulation in dozens of instances of homicide, try to homicide, theft, and armed encounters with regulation imposing businesses.

Other alleged robbers to make the ‘most wanted list’ embody  Yasin Jatoi, Akbar Teghani, Ata Muhammad Sheikh, and Dawood Sheikh.

The counter-terrorism division (CTD) of Sindh police has drafted proposals for placing a bounty on the heads of greater than 80 suspects concerned in heinous crimes.

Once finalised, the CTD officers will submit the suggestions to Home Department.

According to sources, the checklist contains suspects concerned in terrorism and different crimes in Karachi and different districts of Sindh.

As per sources, the division has advised asserting Rs10 million for bringing useless or alive the seven suspects concerned in a financial institution theft in Karachi.

Apparently, the quantity of head cash has elevated exponentially consistent with the runaway inflation.

A notification of Sindh Home Department issued in May 2021 had introduced bounties on numerous suspects, they embody Wajid Kandani Rs1 million, Washo Soreh Rs1.5 million, Bahar Baharo Rs1 million, Khan Muhammad Khanu Rs1 million, Hakim Ali Rs1 million, Ghulam Sarwar Rs500,000, Zulfiqar Ali Rs1 million, Lado Teghani Rs2 million, Ali Muhammad Hassan Gandhi Sabzoi Rs1 million, and Belo Banglani Rs3 million.
