The Municipality of Karachi (KMC) filed a case for theft of new tunnel lights on February 25 in Nazimabad Underpass where the lights have been stolen soon.
The engineering department of the Municipality of Karachi has written a letter to the police stating that unknown suspects stole all the lights, immediate action should be taken against the elements involved.
KMC officials have registered a case against KMC officer Shafi at Nazimabad police station.
Officer Shafi stated that I had installed 15 tunnel lights in Nazimabad underpass on February 25 and when the lights arrived for inspection on March, the lights were missing, the tunnel lights were installed at least 25 feet high.
KMC officials said in a letter to the police that the elements involved in the theft should be arrested and legal action should be taken and patrols were increased so that government goods could be safe.
