The promises made to the World Monetary Fund (IMF) are underway, now the purchase will be from debit cards instead of cash.
The FBR made another major decision to meet the IMF terms and increase revenue. The business sector will be documented across the country.
In the first phase, the installation of debit and credit card machines is mandatory at large shops. The software will be associated with the FBR’s computerized system.
Transactions have also been decided to monitor CCTV, expert Economic Affairs Dr Khaqan Najib said that the decision is aimed at leading Pakistan to digital payments.
