Iran has proposed to create an uranium enrichment consortium consisting of three Middle East countries – Iran, Saudi Arabia and the UAE, aimed at eliminating US objections and gaining regional confidence.
The purpose of the proposal is to allow Iran to enrich, contribute to neighboring countries, contribute to technology and to ensure nuclear proliferation at the regional level.
The enrichment will only be at a level of 3.67% (as was scheduled for the 2015 nuclear deal) and facilities will remain in Iran.
UAE and Saudi Arabia will be made partners in enrichment of uranium.
The United States, on the other hand, is demanding the end of Iran enrichment, but in the recent talks, Trump has praised Iran’s seriousness.
Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Iraqi talked to the United States in Oman and then went to Dubai and met with the UAE Foreign Minister.
