Due to mental stress and low morale in Occupied Kashmir, 2 Indian Army personnel shot themselves with official rifles and ended their lives.
According to Kashmir Media Service, an officer of India’s paramilitary Central Reserve Police Force committed suicide in Shopian district of Occupied Kashmir.
The official who ended his life by shooting himself with a government rifle was identified as Paramveer. The body was sent to the native village after necessary procedures.
The second incident of suicide occurred in Kishtwar district of Occupied Kashmir where a 24-year-old Indian Army officer Sanatham Singh shot himself.
However, the Indian Army spokesperson claimed that Sanatam Singh was killed due to accidental firing.
On the other hand, hospital sources said that the bullet was fired from close range and the wound suggests that the bullet was self-inflicted.
It should be remembered that suicide incidents among Indian soldiers due to mental stress and low morale are common in Occupied Kashmir and according to a report, this number is more than 600 in the last ten years.
