Karachi:
Oil and Gas Development Company has started oil and gas production activities from the newly discovered area.
OGDC has informed the Pakistan Stock Exchange through a letter that the daily quantity of gas obtained from Kunar Well 3 in Hyderabad is 3.5 mmscfd.
The process of gas production from this well has started from 1200 flowing pressure.
Production of 3.8 metric tons per day of LPG from the well has also been started and the gas obtained from Kunar mining has been added to the Sui Southern Gas Company’s system.
The letter states that mining has yielded light oil reserves of 30 barrels per day.
