Gaza Ceasefire: The exchange of hostages between Israel and Hamas continues. Meanwhile, Israel says that Hamas’s list has revealed that eight of the 33 hostages to be released in the first phase of the Gaza ceasefire will have died. Government spokesperson David Mainsar said that Hamas has said that 25 out of 33 people are alive.

According to the report by The Times of Israel, Israel said that it has received a list of information about the status of the hostages from Hamas. He also said that the next release of hostages will be on Thursday (January 30, 2025), followed by another release on Saturday (February 1, 2025).

Big question for the family members of hostages

Even though there is a ceasefire between Israel and Hamas, but the people held hostage inside Gaza are alive or are dead. This is a heartbreaking question for the family of hostages. Due to the pressure of these families, the Israeli government has now reached an agreement to free them. Seven of the 33 hostages have already been released.

Dead body of IDF soldier killed in 2014 also recovered

Out of 251 hostages from Hamas, 87 are still in Gaza, including bodies of at least 34. The IDF has confirmed these dead bodies.
