WASHINGTON: US Secretary of State Marco Rubio has said he is closely examining the tense situation between Pakistan and India.
In his recent statement, he made it clear that he agreed with President Donald Trump’s position that the two countries should take the path of peace through dialogue and communication.
Marco Rubio hoped that the tension would end soon and that the region would remain stable. His statement comes at a time when the situation between the two countries is getting serious day by day.
On the other hand, India attacked various areas of Pakistan indiscriminately, in which 24 attacks were carried out at six places, according to the DGISPR. 8 Pakistani nationals were martyred and 35 were injured in these cowardly attacks, while two were missing.
However, Pakistan responded immediately to the attacks. The Pakistani Air Force fired 5 Indian fighter jets and completely destroyed an Indian brigade headquarters, causing heavy damage to the enemy.
