Pak vs WI: Second day play of 2nd Test washed out

KINGSTON: Heavy rain and a sodden outfield resulted within the abandonment of the second day´s play of the second Test between the West Indies and Pakistan at Sabina Park on Saturday and not using a ball being bowled.

Pakistan will resume their first innings on the third day, climate allowing, at 212 for 4 after they have been put in to bat.

Having misplaced the primary Test on the identical venue per week earlier by one wicket, the guests will see the lack of the day as a setback to their quest for a series-levelling victory.

West Indies are looking for their first Test sequence victory over Pakistan for 21 years.
