Federal Information Minister Atta Tarr has said that the successful operation of Pakistan Army against terrorists in Wana Cadet College will become a model for such operations at the global level.
Appreciating the courage and strategy of this operation, he said that this operation will be taught in the military academies of the world.
Atta Tarar said that the Pakistan Army rescued the students of Wana Cadet College with immense bravery and in this operation not only saved the lives of the students but also prevented any major loss from happening.
He said that if this operation had not been successful, 500 to 700 students could have suffered an irreparable loss.
Atta Tarar further said that the terrorists are targeting easy targets and the government will not sit down from China without eliminating the terrorists.
This operation demonstrates our commitment to rooting out terrorist activities, and shows that we can go to any lengths to protect our homeland.
The Federal Minister emphasized that Pakistan’s stand against terrorism will be shared with international forums and friendly countries.
Pakistan has won wars against India and Afghanistan, and our only demand has been that the soil of Afghanistan should not be used for terrorism against Pakistan.
He praised the bravery of the officers and men of the Pakistan Army and said that this operation not only proved the capabilities of the Pakistan Army but also made clear the determination of the government to eliminate terrorists.
