Pakistan has expressed deep concern over the growing Islamophobia incidents in India.
According to the report, a statement issued by the Foreign Office spokesman said that Pakistan is deeply concerned about Islamophobia in India.
Pakistan has called on India to ensure the rights and protection of citizens of all faiths beyond religion.
The spokesman said that targeting Muslims through hate speeches, discrimination and state intervention is a serious concern for the international community.
The spokesman said that at a time when there is a dire need for patience and reconciliation, deliberately provoking religious hatred for political and ideological purposes is akin to violating global human rights responsibilities and damaging regional stability and harmony.
