Indian Cargo Ship drown in Pakistan : An Indian ship sank in Pakistan’s territorial waters. After which Pakistan saved the lives of the crew members of the sunken Indian ship. Pakistani Maritime Security Agency (PMSA) successfully completed the maritime rescue operation on Wednesday (December 4). 12 Indians were stranded in the middle of the sea after the sinking of the Indian cargo ship MSV AL Pinanipir.

PMSA issued a statement on Wednesday (December 4), saying, “The Marine Rescue Coordination Center (MRCC) received an email from Mumbai MRCC, India. In which assistance was requested to locate and rescue survivors of the sunken ship.” According to the statement issued, the Indian cargo ship sank in the Exclusive Economic Zone of Pakistan, whose 12 crew members were trapped in the middle of the sea.

Pakistan started rescue operation on India’s request

On India’s request, Pakistan Maritime Agency along with several other agencies started the rescue operation. PMSA entrusted a ship with the responsibility of locating the survivors. At the same time, other commercial vessels in the local maritime area were also alerted. They were also requested to help in rescue.

All 12 people stranded in the sea were rescued

PMSA further said in the statement, ‘As a result of quick response and effective coordination, all 12 people on board the Indian cargo ship were saved. Which reflects PMSA’s commitment to maintaining international SAR obligations and promoting regional cooperation. This operation demonstrates PMSA’s readiness and professional expertise in responding to emergency situations at sea, regardless of nationality.
