Pakistan observes Police Martyrs’ Day at this time

Police Martyrs’ Day is being noticed throughout Pakistan on Wednesday to pay tribute to the sacrifices of law enforcement officials and personnel who laid down their lives for the safety of the nation.

Special ceremonies could be held on this regard and floral wreaths could be laid on graves and monuments of police martyrs.

Chief of the Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa, whereas paying homage to the martyrs, mentioned that “Pakistan Poice has made monumental sacrifices in the line of duty over the years, contributing immensely in bringing peace and stability to the country,” in keeping with Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).

President Dr Arif Alvi held a telephonic dialog with the members of the family of Pakistan Army personnel Captain Basit Ali and Sepoy Hazrat Bilal who embraced martyrdom throughout an operation in Khurram District.

He commiserated with the bereaved households and prayed for the upper ranks of the martyrs.

The president additionally telephoned the household of Captain Affan Masood who embraced martyrdom in Pasni and appreciated the companies of the martyr.
