Pakistan receives consignment of 1.55mn doses of Sinovac vaccine


ISLAMABAD: Pakistan on Sunday acquired a consignment of 1.55mn doses of the Sinovac vaccine from China, as per an announcement from the NCOC. 

A PIA aircraft carrying the extra doses of the vaccine arrived in Islamabad from China, in line with the NCOC. 

“This is part of the planned contracted quantity purchased from China,” stated the NCOC. 

The NCOC stated that China, as a “time-tested friend of Pakistan” has taken particular measures to make sure an uninterrupted provide of vaccines to Pakistan.

It stated that one other consignment of 2-Three million doses of Chinese vaccines will probably be reaching Pakistan someday throughout the subsequent week, adopted by a steady provide.

“Measures are in place to transport these vaccines to all federating units according to their requirements,” concluded the NCOC.
