Pakistan’s women’s national football team has secured a historic breakthrough after being officially accepted to participate in the FIFA Series for the first time, the Pakistan Football Federation (PFF) announced.
The milestone marks a new chapter for women’s football in the country, placing Pakistan among a select group of national teams invited by FIFA to join the global initiative aimed at expanding international exposure, improving competitive standards and fostering cross-continental football opportunities.
The inclusion is seen as growing recognition of Pakistan’s progress in the women’s game and the team’s rising profile within the region.
