PESHAWAR, Pakistan (AP) — Pakistani safety forces performing on intelligence raided a militant hideout within the nation’s northwest Monday, killing three militants who had allegedly been concerned in focused killings within the nation, the army stated.
The raid occurred within the former tribal area of Lower Dir within the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, based on a army assertion. It stated troops additionally seized weapons and grenades from the militant hideout.
The slain militants till 2019 had allegedly been concerned in focused killings in northwestern Swat Valley, which was a Taliban stronghold till 2009 when the military stated it cleared the area of militants.
