The Indian Army on Wednesday gave a befitting reply to the firing from across the Line of Control in Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir, in which a large number of Pakistani soldiers were casualties. Security officials gave this information.
Officials said that the struggle-demon was violated by Pakistan in the Krishna Valley sector when two Indian military personnel including a captain in the IED blast by suspected militants near the Line of Control in Akhnoor sector of Jammu district a day earlier. The life was lost.

Officials said that a junior commissioned officer (JCO) of the Indian Army was marginally injured when he accidentally set foot on a landmine. He said that JCO, resident of Mendhar, was part of a patrol that was strict monitoring on the Line of Control to prevent infiltration of terrorists. The injured officer was rushed to the military hospital.
