Paresh Rawal On Bollywood Remakes: Most films in Bollywood are remakes. Some film is a remake of a South film and some of Hollywood. Bollywood has been tightened many times on the remake issue. Now Paresh Rawal has spoken openly on this issue. Paresh Rawal has called Bollywood a thief. He has told that due to the opening of American studios in India, the producers have suffered a lot.
In an interview to Siddharth Kanan, Paresh Rawal spoke on the Bollywood remake. He said- I have experienced it myself. If you go to a director and say to them that you want to make a film, then they hold you a cassette dusty and say- see this, then later we will mix another one in it.
We used to pick up the stolen goods
Paresh Rawal further said- It is a good thing that his office came here and our story came out, otherwise we used to pick up the stolen goods. We were good thieves. We used to steal foreign films. When his offices opened here, he had to pay for his films. After that everyone thought that we should not do this because in this way we will not have any profit.
Paresha Rawal said- Then it came to know how powerful our stories are to these owls. Stories are quite strong, drumatic, new and innovative. Earlier, only stolen work was done. At that time there was lethargy and mental bankruptcy. When he started working hard and the results came out. Then he understood why go there.
Talking about the workfront, Paresh Rawal will soon be seen in the film Bhoot Bungalow with Akshay Kumar and Tabu. The film will be released on 2 April in 2026.
